FUNDAMENTALS

LEARN THE FUNDAMENTALS. UNDERSTAND INTENSITY. FIND YOUR INTENSITY. BECOME A DURABLE HUMAN.

Get ready to learn the fundamentals of movement in our Fundamentals series. This is a static system that rotates through four subjects inherent to our training philosophy and the classes we offer.

  1. CORE/CARDIO

  2. SQUATS vs HINGE

  3. PUSH & PRESS

  4. PULL POSTURES

These classes will occur on

  • Tuesdays at 7am

  • Wednesdays at 5:30pm

  • and Saturdays at 10am

The program costs $99 and once cleared you’ll be able to join the ongoing classes at whatever membership frequency works for you.

The intensity and difficulty of these classes are ultimately in your hands- we’ve gamified the workouts so you

a.) have data to observe, measure, and retest your fitness levels

b.) can make the appropriate adjustments for yourself. We can help make these more doable, or more challenging.

Our coaches have worked with all levels of athletes: from the desk jockey to actual Olympians, teens to seniors, 400lbs individuals to those overcoming disordered eating- if there’s been a special case we’ve worked with them, and if not we have the resources to best serve them.

We just ask our athletes communicate so we can accommodate!

If the schedule doesn’t currently work for you we offer a Personal Training version of this program.

ATHLETE OBJECTIVES

The emphasis of FUNDAMENTALS is on skill development and exposure to our basic movements. This program is designed to prepare you to enter our ongoing group classes.

  • We will not cover the gamete of all exercise since that’s impossible. Instead you’ll learn our framework for movement and be testing how to adapt it to learn new skills.

  • We are going to be hammering on technique - both to ensure your safety and success at the next level.

  • We’ll introduce you to technique and mechanics first, and THEN intensity. The class is called Fundamentals for a specific reason. We want to ramp you up to the level of intensity and output that is inherent in our other classes.

  • The movements we teach will begin with simple bodyweight skills and progressively become more technical throughout the course.

  • The workout in each class will also become more challenging as the course progresses. While this is only four classes we have 3 versions of each class so you could repeat this thrice for a full understanding.

  • The difficulty of these workouts is ultimately in your hands. The degree that you push yourself will determine how uncomfortable you become.

  • This program may be repeated multiple times until you feel ready to join our ongoing classes.

  • Finally, ASK QUESTIONS! All questions are important and if you have it in your head, someone else probably does too. Don’t be shy and ask away!
