WHO WE ARE
ATTN Seattle was built on the belief that “if you want to go far, go together”—and that’s exactly what we strive to do. We’re a group of like-minded individuals who use our diverse experiences across life, sport, and movement to help others through the lens of exercise and performance. With us, you’ll gain knowledge and confidence through quality movement and intentional progressions, scaling and modifying as needed.
We define “fitness” as increased work capacity: the ability to move large loads over long distances, efficiently. Because we gamify each workout, we provide measurable, repeatable results so you can see exactly how much progress you’re making.
Unlike many gyms, our philosophy is rooted in skill and technique rather than raw volume. We go the extra step by developing physical skills that translate directly into a better quality of life: cardiovascular endurance, strength, flexibility, stamina, power, speed, accuracy, agility, balance, and coordination. We draw from many training disciplines, but we simplify our exercise selection into three core buckets:
Bodyweight Control – Mastering the ability to move yourself through space: sitting, standing, falling, and pulling yourself up.
Weightlifting – Moving external loads: lifting, carrying, pressing, pulling, and rotating objects. In the gym, these look like barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, sandbags, medicine balls, other people (sometimes), and more.
Steady-state – Building aerobic tolerance and muscular stamina through lower-intensity repetitive movements like walking, running, rowing, biking, and hiking.
When you take our classes, we take the guesswork out of training. You show up and challenge yourself in a way that meets your body where it’s at—and we promise you’ll progress from there.
THE TEAM
Our team brings nearly 100 years of combined coaching experience across sport, everyday fitness, injury recovery, and more. We’ve worked with all kinds of people — from first-timers to seasoned podium athletes. You can count on us to meet you where you’re at, help you move better, and train smarter — for today and for the long haul.
